FICTION

Lost Child (Volume Two) - Retribution in the Nantahala

This is written by the author of Winter Kill: War With China Has Already Begun which has been listed here before. This is the second book of two, apparently will be three (not exactly sure) about a child getting lost in the wilderness and the father’s journey to find her. The first (and apparently you do need to read it first) is Lost Child (Volume One) - Anguish in the Nantahala That actually has been free before (May 1) but I didn’t list it because it was early days for this blog and I was more focussed on major disasters. Anyway, it might come up free again some day (I promise I’ll list it if I see it, but of course there’s no guarantee it’ll be offered), or if you’re interested, you could purchase it.

No Safe Place

"Shortly before September 11, 2001, Joe Biden warned, 'The question is not if we will be attacked by terrorists, but rather when and where.' In the pages of No Safe Place, terrorism has come to America once again. Sleeper agents for a radical Islamic terrorist group that calls itself Ansar Inshallah have managed to blend into American society and go undetected - until now."  Again, no doubt the timing of this offer is no accident.

Wounded Earth

“An environmental thriller from a recipient of Red Adept's Annual Indie Award.” About threats to “put defective gauges in nuclear power plants.”

Manic

“When a private aircraft conducts an emergency landing on the thawing Great Bear Lake in the Northwest Territories of Canada, two pilots are hurled into a quest for survival against the elements. However, surviving the harsh arctic climate becomes secondary to conquering the terrifying phantoms that battle against their will to live.” Written by a former meteorologist and hurricane hunter.

"Messages from the Borderlands are diaries and stories left behind after a series of cataclysmic disasters on earth. These tragic and early survivor stories are uncovered from the debris and shared. Acts of desperation, treachery and violence are the norm in the post-apocalyptic world of the Borderlands, but occasionally, there is also hope.

Bad Man (Messages from the Borderlands)
"Bad Man is the story of one desperate man and what he has to do to ensure the survival of himself and his daughter. When another survivor disturbs the delicate balance with lies and treachery within one of the last safe places left in the Borderlands, he has to choose life even at the cost of another's."
My Wisdom (Messages from the Borderlands)
"My Wisdom tells the story of one woman's secret infatuation she must guard from the other survivors of the Borderlands. Although she tries to be loyal, she's has a certain wisdom that could destroy what passes for peace among the survivors."

Walking In Darkness (Walking In Darkness Series)

“…story about a group of Christians trying to survive during the Last Days of Earth. Following a chain of apocalyptic events, this group of Christians find themselves on the run and fighting to survive in a world they are no longer welcome in. Led by Michael Alistair, this new found group of Christians have to overcome the fear of government oppression, persecution and their greatest threat, themselves, in order to build an unbreakable bond. Trust.”

A.E.U Origins: The End of Our Lives (Episode 1)

“Akira has been living in an utopian society for as long as he can remember. And he wants out. Passing into a forbidden zone, he is suddenly thrust from his comfort zone into a world of danger, violence, and enemies at every turn. But he will not go on this journey alone. Joining a diverse group of teenagers, all from different worlds and walks of life, he will seek to unravel the mystery of their union, and in the process, learn of a threat that has consumed humanity for decades.”
