Know Stealing
”will shatter preconceived notions and replace them with clear and precise knowledge which is capable of driving restoration in our American Republic in particular, and modern civilization in general. Clearly the preceding statement is bold, but it will hold up under honest critical review. With wisdom, knowledge, understanding, courage and commitment, we can right the ship and restore prosperity in the United States in a matter of months. The same is true in any society that will genuinely defend individual life, liberty and property. One of the principle goals of the book is to enable more people to Know Stealing, so that we can enforce a policy of No Stealing. Theft that goes undetected will never be stopped.”

”there are three different forms of money, not just one; and the form of money a society implements determines the kind of society it will be, and what's more, how it will think. For money is not neutral. It is a product of human artifice, the particular expression of a particular society, that at the same time determines the further course of that society, not just in terms of economics, but in all areas of cultural endeavor.”

True Accounts

Volcano! Fire & Death (Living in the Shadow of Java's Mt. Merapi)
Excellent reviews. ”Kate and Rudy woke up in the middle of the night with a killer volcano giving the performance of a lifetime less than 9 miles from the house/office that they share. They lived in a safe zone, but this time even the safe zone was at risk. Mt. Merapi, Indonesia's most active volcano, recently had the largest eruption since 1872, killing over 300 people. Kate and Rudy tell you the true story of their harrowing experience during this dramatic time. …read about their frightening experience with the volcanic ash and trying to get away from the eruption only to discover they were in a huge traffic jam.“

Don't Worry Baby: A 1972 Adventure on Wheels
“It’s the day after Max and Ginny’s wedding. Against the advice of people who love them, they head south, away from Wisconsin, in a rickety van. Armed with love and not much more, they search for a place where more than icicles grow in March – so they can live off the land. “ I don’t know if they were successful!

Tempest at Dawn
”The United States is on the brink of total collapse. The military has been reduced to near extinction, economic turmoil saps hope, and anarchy threatens, as world powers hover like vultures, eager to devour the remains. In a desperate move, a few powerful men call a secret meeting to plot the overthrow of the government. Fifty-five men came to Philadelphia May of 1787with a congressional charter to revise the Articles of Confederation. Instead they founded the longest lasting republic in world history. Tempest at Dawn tells their story.”

When We Were Young and Brave - A Remembrance
”account of 18 years in a girl’s life …through a Great Depression and a terrible World War…”

Local Heroes: True Deeds of Outstanding Bravery
”This extensively-researched publication provides concise and informative accounts of outstanding bravery with biographical tributes to military and civilian local heroes who risked their lives to help others.“

Essie Shor
”Some Jews in the Holocaust fought back! This is the story of one of them. Living in the forest through bitter winter stalking and being stalked Essie s life in the Bielski Partisan camp is full of danger, adventure, and intrigue. Essie Shor was just 16 when the Nazis invaded her town, Novogrudek (then a part of Poland, now in Belarus) and killed 4000 Jews on a single day, including her mother and all her brothers and sisters. The 700 who remained, including Essie and her father, were herded into prison-like conditions in the ghetto the Nazis established. But Essie escaped at night through a hole in the fence, and became one of the first 25 Jews to join her cousins, the Bielski Brothers, in an encampment that would eventually save 1200 Jews. Living in the forest, we no longer felt like cattle, as we had in the ghetto. However, we had to move constantly. There were German soldiers looking for us everywhere, and sometimes villagers living nearby would tell them where we were. Once, we had to leave in a hurry when the Nazis discovered the hoof prints of our cows in the snow. This was a different kind of fear. We went from being caged to being hunted. And to being a hunter. Essie became a teenage Partisan, a guerilla fighter in the resistance. More than 60 years later, Essie still remembers those two years fighting for the freedom of her people. Now, as more people learn about the Bielski Partisans by watching the movie, Defiance, she shares her dramatic story at last.”

Moving Mountains: A Logistical Examination of Hannibal's Crossing of the Alps

FICTION

Politics, Terrorism, and Intrigue/Conspiracy

The Rise of San Matias (Weapons of Self Destruction The Rise of San Matias)
”New Zealand is a beautiful Island Paradise, but all is not well down in little old New Zealand. There are plans being undertaken, people are being killed off in so called accidental deaths, and for Inspector Gibbs, a rather average Police Inspector, it’s all becoming a little too confusing. But confusion is what often arises when an international terrorist is playing games in your country. Will Inspector Gibbs be able to realize what’s happening in time? Or will one of the world’s best strategic puppet master terrorists outwit and out think all involved in what can only be described as a suspenseful thrill ride of action and mayhem in this all-out battle to take the ultimate prize.”

Kingdom of Rage (The Rich Fordham Series)
”A ruthless plot to destroy America's fragile infrastructure. A journalist, willing to sacrifice everything for an epic story. A mercenary, all alone in a hostile country that wants him dead….”

72 Hours (A Thriller)
”Having survived careers in both the Army and the FBI, Ryan Archer is … asked to keep a woman named Lindsay Hammond alive for the next 72 hours, as an army of street thugs, career criminals and professional assassins press in around them from every direction… they go off the grid, surviving minute to minute, cutting off all contact with the outside world …”

Divided We Stand
”The book takes place in the near future, and the United States no longer exists as we know it -- now shattered into five contentious nations. Marcel Crisp, a multiracial renowned journalist, accepts a position in one of the new nation's governments, all the while secretly plotting with other patriots to re-unite the United States of America. Liberals and conservatives clash, as separatist factions force their own special interests to the forefront, but Marcel Crisp must find a way to reunify the five New America nations as they all face a deadly international nuclear threat.”

Loser's Memorial
” Two young men from different countries are driven to madness as they are dragged into the global war on terrorism. Through alternating perspectives across several years, Loser's Memorial takes you on a journey into the disturbing and surreal world of war without end, war without purpose, war for profit alone. Told with a masterful blend of intensity, humor and humanity, Loser's Memorial is of that special breed of novel that spares no one from its skepticism, yet still remains entertaining and thrilling to the very last word and beyond.”

Occupy America
”The FBI’s Domestic Terrorism division is looking for Cory in connection with three shootings … Cory has broken from the Occupy movement in favor of more radical methods, and he’s bent on sparking a revolution by launching a major terrorist attack on the Fourth of July. Leon has only days to stop his brother and, in the process, probably save his life. …Cory will have to confront his own issues, …discovering that the gap between reality and his ideals may be too great to bridge……In the end, only one of the brothers can win—and the outcome may determine the future of America.”

Captive in Chief : a thriller novella
”James Franklin was a decorated military sniper before losing a leg in combat. The only job he can get is as a maintenance man in a hotel. Repairing toilets and changing locks bores him after the rush of combat. He doesn't realize a massive government bunker is 50 feet below the hotel. . Nuclear weapons fall into Syrian hands. The President and Congress flee to the bunker for safety. The enemy knows about the bunker and attacks. If they can control our government, then they will win the war. James' combat skills are all that stand between the United States and World War III.”

Collapse, Post-Apocalypse, Speculative Futures

I Know You Will Find Me
“Graham Simpson … is searching for his son, travelling North through England and Scotland in the aftermath of the Yangtze virus pandemic. Without laws and government, just how long does it take for the British to stop being civilised? Should his sense of responsibility for two lost teenagers he adopts on the way override his desire to find his own family? Graham's will to live against the odds, and his determination to stay good, lead him to unexpected outcomes.”

NEW LIFE
Short story. I didn’t put this in the sci-fi although the cause of the collapse is aliens, because it appears the book is about how a couple deals with the collapse of society and little to do with the origin of it. “For an ordinary English couple honeymooning in Hawaii their lives are thrown into pandemonium as they struggle to protect themselves in search of escape from the chaos. Brought to the now wasteland shores of the United States, by the American Military, they embark on an adventure …looking for a way to carry on their lives… or at least begin a new life.”

Dissonance
“Two science fiction short stories set in a near, dystopic future: (The first is) Necessity: A japanese geologist, Sousuke Takahashi, is stationed in Field Zeta, the world's largest thorium-based nuclear power production site at a time when the internet is a thing of the past and the sea levels have risen by ten feet. Sousuke and some like-minded individuals are about to force humanity into a necessary struggle, and each one has a dreadful task to accomplish. “

Windigo Soul
Dystopia. “It's Hank Reed's birthday. As a citizen of the United Federation of Nations that means a mandatory death sentence simply because he turned sixty years old. Referred to as "retirement," it's one of the desperate steps the government has taken to curb overpopulation. Retirement is a widely accepted fact of life on a dying planet ruled by a tyrannical government. Hank's execution goes ahead as planned but state sponsored euthanasia isn't what it seems. The Reed family learns what really happens to retirees when secrets the UFN keep from the public start to unravel. This book is intended to be read by adults and may be unsuitable for children under 17. Contains indecent language and descriptions of graphic violence.”

Puzzlecide - Kindle Version: All New Original Visual Style Puzzle Games for Your Kindle

Harvest
”Harvest is a salient worldwide message. Our society is infested with every compilation of electronic gadgetry with delivery made into the silent, antisocial, interpersonal world of cyberspace and hence the child’s brain. Who would have thought the places meant to be the safest in our society are the most duplicitous: our homes and schools. What ...who lurks behind those electronic screens that daub every home, every schoolroom, capturing your child’s mind in a prison of his own aspirations, corrupting the young brain to his nefarious agenda? ... Harvest ... the grim reaper of our children’s minds. How he did this and why is what this story is all about.”
